I am looking for the Maskill line that starts with Thomas Maskill born about 1725 in Sherburn in Elmet, Yorkshire, England.

My line (actually it's my husband's line) is Thomas Maskill (Ann Shepherd), John Maskill (Ann Slater), John Maskill (Ann Grimshaw), Thomas Maskill (Harriet C. Sidwell), Virtue Maskill (Thomas Oades), Sarah Oades (George Ward), Ivy Ward (Benjamin Allsop), Flora (Queenie) Allsop (Charles Mattin), Brian Mattin (Helen Callfas).

Hello, My maiden name was Maskill.I too am descended from Thomas Maskill and Ann Shepherd.John Maskill and Ann Slator. Thomas Maskill born 1777 and Eleanor Blackburn. Thomas Maskill 1814 and Sarah Sanderson.Henry Maskill 1841 and Sarah Parker.Tom Henry 1866 and Annie maria Davison.Tom Maskill 1899 and Elise Smith then me Patricia maskill 1941. Hi, my maiden name was Maskill too. I'm at a dead end with Alfred and Caroline Maskill (they sometimes spelled it "Maskell." They were not born in Australia, but their son William was born in Tumut, NSW, in 1871. His parents were Thomas and Mary A Maskell.

I have a few Alfred's and Thomas'. Do you know Caroline's & Mary A's maiden names. Also, if William was married at any time what was his wife's name?

I can't find any further information on Thomas and Mary A Maskell. They were definately not born, married and did not die in Australia, and I can't find any further information on foreign websites without paying.

They had seven children that I know of. I believe that William married Mary Francis in Forbes in 1900. They had three sons- Joseph, William and Alfred.

I have a lot more information if you're interested.
