Hello Amanda, This MDN20 from New Zealand. Do you know anything about your McCready connections? I have researched the family of Thomas McCready who came to New Zealand in 1886/7. His parents were Hugh McCready and Margaret Muir. Hugh was from Co. Down in Ireland as shown in 1841 Scottish census. They lived in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
I have found that much of the published information is muddled because same names have been assumed to be related. Can be quite a mine field. If any of this rings any bells let me know as we may be able to help each other. Cheers MDN.
