Traceing my Ancestors living in Strathdon/Lonach.I believe Alexander was the founder of the Lonach Society,pre Braemar Games,allegedly banned from Braemar as,too succesful.

I would like to ascertain the family connection to the 45 uprising,as I have been told 2 ancestors were executed as Jacobite(rebels)after signing confessions,although being simple farmers speaking only Gaellic,neither could read or write.
