I pretty much have an idea of some of the Furlottes. First of all my name is Paul Smith. My mother's maiden name is furlotte. Her father is John Furlotte on King St. He passed away years ago. His wife was Marie bourgeois Melanson. They had many kids, Ruth who is my mother, Gert, Josephine, Celia,Genie, and two Brothers. Percy Furlotte who was a chef at the Carleton Hotel for years and Peck Furlotte who had a small store in his house next to the legion. Now the father of John is also named John so I guess we'll call him Snr. He was married to Bridget Murray. But now i'm getting some information that he (John Peter Snr)was not a Furlotte when he was born but was adopted by a family of furlottes which i don't know there name and i would like to. I guess i would like a little bit more knowledge on who adopted John peter Mclean and made him into furlotte and even if you can provide a bit more informtion on the parents of the furlottes who adopted john peter. Hope this is not too confusing. I miss travelling to Bathurst even as a child i can remember how friendly the place was. I was talking to my aunt Celia Melanson(Furlotte) and i plan on seeing them this summer.
