Looking for My great Grandfathers army service in Canada "Joseph Bradwell"

Query by maybe

My great grandfather Joseph Bradwell was a Soldier who served in Canadawith the 63rd Regiment, which embarked from York England for Canada in 1859 They were appantley stationed in Halifax, Nova Scotia until March 1862.

In April 1862 the battalion moved to London (westCanada)In 1865 the Battalion moved to Hamilton, Canada West, and in june of that year they left to return to Aldershot England,

Joseph was premoted to Corporal in 1862 and reduced to Private 13/6/1865 after a court martial

I would like to know if any records of these "Red Coat" Soldiers who served in Canada are available from resources in Canada and some history of Canadain Towns as they were in those times

Hoping someone can help

Go to the Library and Archives Canada at this web address
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/index-e.html
I was able to obtain a complete .pdf copy of my uncle's WWI military service record for a nominal fee.

I don't know how far back the records go, but it can't hurt to check it out.

Good luck!
Pam
