Looking for Narabone

Query by cricket8520

Looking for NARABONE's. With such an unusual name thought it would be simple! Found a brick wall after 3rd generation. Below is where I started having trouble.

Fred NARABONE b.3-15-1901 d.11-1967

Fred's parents: Frank NARABONE- no info found
Exilda(THROMBLEY)NARABONE- no info found
Frank had brother Paul who lived in Weybridge,Addison county VT, moved to NY(abt.1920's)and changed spelling of surname to NARBONE.

Did find a Frank A.NARABONE b.abt 1876 vt,res in cornwall,vt (that info from 1880 census) I'm fairly certain thats the Frank i'm looking for but after that i'm not finding anything.

A little family info from an elderly aunt is that Fred(my grandfather) had brother Lussier who died when in his early 20's from pneumonia. Also had a sister sophrona.

Frank(my great grdfather)mother she thinks was born in canada, possible near Lacolle. Franks father possible in the cornwall,VT area. Frank might have had a sister named Sophrona.

I apologize if this is long and unorganized. I just recently started trying to do genealogy research on my name. If you do happen to have any information or come across the name please feel free to email me. Thanks for your time and patience.

Dear Cricket8520, Hi there and welcome. If you goto this website, and type in NARABONE, you will no doubt retrieve a lot of information on this surname.

Surname Navigator

It's the most powerful genealogy search engine that I know of and is really quite brilliant.

Keep asking questions and posting journals. Also, type in FREE and NEWBIES in the top right-hand corner of familytreecircles and press SEARCH and read those journals. Everyone loves something for free!

Remember add all the surnames that you know of in your family tree to your profile.

Cheers, Al downunder.
