I am the daughter of Cyril Jos Nix the only son of Joesph D. Nix
d/b June 1854 of Henry Cty. TN. His father was Thomas J. Nix d/b Sept. 1829 of Williamson Cty, TN, his father was Mark Nix d/b 1779 of Union Cty SC. I beleive his father was name Benjerman Nix. I am looking for comfirmation.

My father passed away in 1974 and there are no other relatives that I can verify our history with.

Is it possible that Joseph D. was actually born in Kentucky, his mother was Margaret, and he married a Julia nix in 1877. Margaret E. Alexander married Thomas J. in Henry, Tennessee on Feb 23, 1853. He died in 1914.

Joseph's siblings were as follows:
Oce (or Ace) Nix (1856-1892)
Bunn Nix (1858-1941)
Ellen Ora Nix (1860-1938)
Don S Nix (1863-1943)
M E Nix (1867-)
Mark or (Mart) Nix (1869-1952)

Sorry it's taken go long to get back, so I hope you read this.
Julia was his first wife. Jos. was born in Henry county TN, but seems to be considered part of KY. Jos and Julia are both buried in the Mt. Pleasant cementry in TN, which is just across the TN/KY state line.

I have pictures of Joseph and his father and monther. Also, I have a picutre of Banger Nix and his wife, but I don't know how we are conected. I would be interested in any family information & or pictures you would have.
