I could not find a birth/baptism for Alexander c 1785. I looked on Familysearch and OPC Cornwall
thank you for this noggin. I had most of this from the sources you have cited. I t is the date of birth and family details of Alexander the elder that escapes me. I have gone through pages of the original parish records as done by Family search.com for what seem to be the local parishes but I couldn't find any record. Given the quality of some of them this is always a challenge. so far I have traced all the John warn, son of Alexander's descendants to the present with exception of my US first cousins. but I now have contact with them and am waiting patiently for details of their families to complete the Alexander true along my line.
