I am a descendant of these two, Nimrod SANDERS and Mary Elizabeth RICKETTS. They had a daughter Tabitha SANDERS who married Wiliam GRAVES. They had a son Aaron GRAVES who married Jane C DUNMAN. They had a daughter Lucinda Frances GRAVES, b. 8 Feb. 1861, who married Henry Godfrey ZIMMERMAN, 6 Nov. 1880, d. 24 May 1926. His surnmame was changed to LISTON. They had a son George Jefferson LISTON who married Lillie Dorena (JARVIS?)JONES. They had a daughter, my grandmother, Loretta Lee LISTON who married H. Virgil PRIEST. They had my father, Randall Dee PRIEST who later changed his last name to that of his step-father Phillip Herman WELDON. So, my dad, Randall Dee WELDON (now) had me, Krista Leigh (WELDON) CULBERTSON. I believe I am the great, great, great, great, great granddaughter of Nimrod SANDERS and Mary Elizabeth RICKETTS.

Actually, William Aaron Sanders parents were not John Sanders and Catherine Nimrod. This has been proved through DNA evidence. Check out some of my posts on the Sanders, Nimrod Sanders was my gggrandfather. William Aaron's parents were Francis Sanders b. 1715, d. 1760, and his wife, Sarah (last name unknown).
