Are you thinking that Allen Levi was a brother to Frank? And that John and Nancy was his parrents?
I have now learned that Frank Martin Reid's parents were Hugh Reid and Jane Durkin Reid, both born in Ireland. Hugh had a brother and a sister, possibly others. His sister Margaret Reid married a Pat McNeilly. His brother Dick lived in Pennsylvania and that was where Hugh later came, then migrating to Wisconsin. Hugh and Jane met somewhere in the USA.
I recently started researching this family as I am quite sure my grandfathers father was the son of Hugh M. Reid, Edward Morris Reid who worked in mines in Nevada and Arizona after leaving Kansas around 1900. His father was a supervisor of some mines around Scammon, Kansas which is a very small town today. Previously Hugh and his wife lived on a farm near Cherokee, Kansas and later built a home in Scammon, Kansas. Edward died in Phoenix in 1962 and is buried in the city cemetery of Girard, Kansas. Hugh and his wife, and possibly some children that died very young are buried in the city cemtery of Cherokee, Kansas which is in Crawford county. Edward's sister Clara Holstine is also buried there. I have tried to find living descendants of them that could possibly have information.
