His perents were Tempest Slinger Parker and Agnes nee Williame of phinnis. His perents were Robert Parker 1740-1808 and Alice nee Kent
I am a direct descendant of Edward Parker of browsholme esquire died
1667.
Tempest Gregory Parker married Emma Jane West in Geelong
and residence was in Rokewood vic. There children are Henry Smith,Agnes,Zipporah,Smith,Alice,Tempest Slinger,Johnson Vernon,Alfred Gregory,George Vernon,Robert frederick
Hiliary Yeo, Emma Jane.

You may post a new topic (like a journal here), asking rootschatters to do bdm lookups for you. Some of them have the VIC bdms on cd-rom. Then come back here, edit your journal with your newly found information.

eldort on 2014-12-05 00:17:08My husband is the eldest male Parker of Browsholme. His cousin Robert Redmayne Parker is the current resident and owner.
If you go to the Browsholme Hall website you will see they have a genealogy page listing all the Parkers, both of Alkincotes ( the original ancestral home) and Browshome.
If you descend from any of them you will find your name or that of your closest ancestor.
Please keep in mind that many people with the Parker surname believe that they are direct descendants, however, if your ancestors emigrated to the U.S. generations ago and did not keep in touch with the family you may be disappointed to find they are not recorded.
How do you know that you are a direct descendant?
Burkes Landed Gentry also lists all the Parkers from the 12th century onward.
