Looking for Perrys from Md. (1800's)

Query by lindasue

Specifically the family genealogy of one William Florence Perry (b.1838). His parents were from MD. and he was born in MD. He was in Louisiana though by the time the War between the States began and was in the infantry for Louisiana (8th, Co. F). After the war moved to Columbus, GA (Muscogee County). He married Mittie Elizabeth Bussey in 1870 and about 1871 or 72 moved to Longview, Texas. Do not know parents names or if he had siblings. Or the reason for his move from Maryland at the age of ?. There were Perrys in New Orleans during the Civil War. Perhaps someone has info on this family.
