I'm trying to track down living Jones relatives of my father for him, as his parents divorced when he was a toddler and he never knew his Jones family.
His father was Leslie Russell Jones, born 1899, in Armidale NSW, to Thomas William and Katherine(Kathleen) Jones.

His father had two brothers, who, according to their death certificates, both had children.

Thomas Philip James Jones was born 1899 Armidale and died 1948 in Concord Repatriation Hospital, but had been living at Newcastle Power Station and working for the railway. He married Gertrude Agnes Taffe in 1928 and they had three children: Desmond K, born 1929, Patrick J born1935 and Sally K born 1937.

I found the death of Desmond in 1974. He had been living at Beresfield, NSW, with his mother, Gertrude. Desmond never married.

Dallas Raymond was born in 1911 and married Lena Frances Nelson, or Nielsen. He died in Darlinghurst, in 1964, where he lived. He was a baker. They had five children: Raymond, born 1931, Kevin, born 1934, Patricia born 1935, Jean born 1938 and Janice born 1941.
