Looking for Robinsons' of Texas and ect
Looking for information on a John Robinson, and wife Elizabeth (last name unknown). They were living in Houston CO., Texas in 1853, when my great great grandfather was born. William oscar was born March 15th 1853. He married Algie Missouri Mills. They had 11 childern, my grandfather Herman H. Robinson being one of them. He was a rancher, training Race Horses. He married Willie Winton in Childress CO., Texas. They had 8 Childern 2 boys died at very young ages. There was Herman Jr, Oscar Lee (Red), Clorine Marie, Therman Leon, Elouise Mae, and Owen Lesily., Herman Robinson lived around Plainview, Hale CO., TX and Lamb CO., TX. Where he passed away at and is buried in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Amherst, along with his wife Willie Winton Robinson.
William Oscar also had a son named Sidney Lee Robinson who was the worlds calf roping champion in the early 1920s'..Uncle Lee has some of his things in the OK Cowboy Hall of Fame. He, his wife and daughter was all killed in a car wreck outside of El Paso, Texas in 1927.
