Looking for Patrick Ryan born 1825 in Ireland immigrated to New York and married Eliza Kingsley born 1837 in Canada. I believe Patrick may have been married before he married Eliza. They had the following children: Sarah, Nora, Louisa and John Joseph Ryan born in 1877. The family shows up in the 1880 census in Atchison Kansas. John was my great grandfather and married Hannah Melvina Buck. They had two children: Mary Louise Ryan in 1905 born and Daniel Emmett Ryan. John then deserted his family and Hannah divorced him around 1905-1910. John died in 1949 in Topeka Kansas. Mary Louise married Abner Ray Ritter born in 1902 in Hedrick, Keokuk County, Iowa. Daniel married Lenore Perez and moved to Long Island New York and died in Saddle River, New Jersey in 1967.
