I am looking for the parents of Abram Smith born abt 1801 in New York State, and died in Hambdlin, Ohio on March 22, 1876. His wife's name was Caroline (do not know maiden name), she died in Ohio on March 20, 1876. He had a son named Abram who was born in New York and after the civil war settled in Nebraska. I am also researching for parents of James Showers 1830-1903, born in Ontario, Canada, and came to New York. He was married to Elizabeth Buffum 1832-1884.
