Hi im looking for any info regarding my search for my family tree. My Swales ancestors come from Whitby, Goathland, Beck Hole, Glaisdale, Egton, Wrelton , Lastingham and surrounding areas they then eventually went to live in Hartlepool and then onto Stockton-on-Tees. My dad Albert Swales was born in Stockton-on-Tees and married my mum Olive Rose Lowe. I'm also researching the Lowe family as my grandad was George Alfred Richard Lowe and he came from Dudley in Wolverhampton all i know about him is that his family ran the Ring o Bells Public House in Dudley i dont know the names of his parents or anything else apart from he came to work in Stockton-on-Tees where he met my grandmother who was called Matilda Newbold and they married. My mum was called Olive Rose Lowe and married my dad Albert Swales. The only thing i know about the name Forth i'm researching is that he was called Thomas W Forth and when my grandmother was 11 yrs old and he was 4yrs old in 1911 is that he was my greatgrandmothers grandson.
