looking for the cancellor family of middlesex england
definitely spelt as cancellor not chancellor as recorded in the census. This family is form 1897 in my tree until when I don;t know.
Charles Edward Cancellor is the person I am starting with so far, as he married my great grandmother Gertrude Marian Cooke.

I have some information about the Cancellor family and links with the Parslows and Willmotts. I would be pleased to share this.
Hi Chris I posted this a long time ago. Getrude Marion Cooke is my grandmothers mother. Florence Marian Cooke is my fathers mother. I actually live in Western Australia where Florence came to.
Hi Chris I have some certificates as well, I am looking for burial places and if possible any newspaper items available as well. Photos would be of interest as well.
I have just read the thread about the Cancellor family. My mother's maternal grandmother was Lillian Cancellor, who married Arthur Hebden. I believe Lillian died around 1933. My understanding is that they lived in Hampstead, North London in a house called Ely Grange and were very wealthy until the 1929 stock market crash. My family seems to know nothing about the Cancellors, but as it is an unusual surname there may well be a connection. A Hebden ancestor was a court composer to King George III.
Hi Asher63 this is Kaye96 I am the person looking for Cancellor information. I can fill you on on some of the Cancellor information and where my grandmother fitted in by marriage of her mother to Edward Cancellor. When Florence's mother died he remarried again to an Annie Meagher who had five children I think.
