I am researching the line of AAron COOK and Mary FORD.... and specifically I am trying to find more on Ebenezer COOK, born 17 April 1728 in Windsor, Hartford, CT, USA... I have my mom's DAR application/lineage, but it doesn't give the wife's name for Ebenezer, but it does give a marriage year of 1752...Now his son Darius COOK, born in 25 March 1753, in Windsor, Hartford, CT, is our American Patriot...I am trying to find more about this line, specifically the wife of Ebenezer COOK and the wife of Darius COOK...Now it is very possible that this line of COOK's moved to NY, in the Dutchess County area, as I have seen some evidence of previous grenerations moveing there as well....Darius himself, was in Pawling, Dutchess, NY by the 1790 and 1800 census....One responder to an query I place over a year ago, said that Elizabeth PANNY was Darius' wife's name...Now I did find a Christopher PENNY on the census in Dutchess County, NY ,and living right next door to Darius...So this could be a very good lead...But I can't find any acutal evidence to this marriage...I also can't find any wife for Darius' mother/ Ebenezer's wife.....IF you are researching this line, or have any interest in the Dutchess County population during or just after the Revolutionary War, please contact me at I am willing to share other info on this line...Thank You...Gail Veve
