My grandmother was a Ruth and she had a cousin named George Ruth, who lived in the same town as she, in Kitsap County, Washington State.

My grandmother, Birty Mae RUTH was born 23 Jun 1888, Minnesota and died June 1982, Kitsap County, Washington. She was the daughter of Herman Y. RUTH, born about 1844 in Pennsylvania (USA).

Again, I don't know if this is helpful or not, but I thought I would at least give at a try.
