Is there anybody out there related to the healey family , who lived in the Prestwich, Manchester, lancs area.
I am trying to trace my grandad Leonard Healey born around 1890 period. I have never met my Grandad as he passed away before i was born, i think he died 1946 I think that the reason that i want to trace distant relatives is that my father Leonard Healey, son of above was an only child and i am unaware of any relatives with the healey name,being a curious little girl, i was always asking about my dads family,, but the answer that i got was that the lived in Prestwitch,this detail was told to me by my mother not my father. My father was a war veteran and served in Burma, he was not a particularly chatty man, even though he was lovely.Anyway i will await in anticipation for someone to respond BYE FOR NOW
