Looking for the TONG family

Query by Gramps

My TONG family left the UK in 1896, I think, arriving in Wellington.
There were Father (William Henry Tong) Mother (Eliza) and 9 children.
My information is that Eliza died in Fielding, Rangitikei in 1924, followed by her husband in 1936.
The family spread out, research suggests that son William died in 1915 at Waharoa, another son, Arthur, in Matamata, Waikato about 1958. A daughter, Florence Annette, died in a private hospital in Aukland in 1965 - but buried in Fielding.
Another son, John Rice, married Mary Winifred Cave - I know more.

Any information would be really appreciated, my apologies for my lack of geographical knowledge of NZ.

Hi Paul - I have extensive notes on the TONG family but not sure is is linked to your William Henry TONG (1858-1954). Harry TONG was my great grandfather, settling first in Kakaramea (Taranaki) before moving to Palmerston North where he died. Harry was from a large family (14) and had a brother William, born on Boughton, Kent in 1868, died 1947. Harry's father was Stephen TONG (1826-1907). Any help?
