Hi all, just to addsome more info on my family, Henry John Bowbrick b 1838 in Rainham Essex, England. Henry was my great-grandfather, he married Mary Ann Sullivan b 1840-1906,Mary was born in Scilly Cork Ireland. They were married on the 31/10/1864, at St Mary's Church in Portsea ( Portsmouth) Hampshire England.Henry joined the navy and was a sailor for 30 yrs. Of the many ships he served on were H.M.S Warrior, the first iron clad ship, also Nelson's ship H.M.S.Victory.
These 2 ships can still be seen at the R.N. dockyard here in Portsmouth. I have lots of history on Henry , but have hit a block on Thomas, although i have made contact with 2 other distant relatives who are also looking for him. I am sure eventually one of us will get lucky and find this next step in our tree.
