I am attempting to find information on my great great grandfather Thomas Plant and his family in Ireland. They emigrated to Canada in 1855 and I am able to trace them here, but the information from Ireland has been difficult to obtain. I have information that is contradictory regarding Thomas`s parents (two different sets of Father and Mothers, either a John Plant & Mary Diggles or Robert Plant and Mary Farrell) The only thing that I am sure of is that he and his wife (Eliza Austin) were from the Kilcommock area of County Longford and he was born about 1810. His family was rather large with 11 siblings according to his obit. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
