I think these are Thomas juniors sibblings.

The marriage in 1789 is looking more like the right one, Alton and Tadley are about 20 miles apart.

I found other children for a Thomas and Jane but they were baptised in Southampton there for possibly the children of the couple married in Alverstoke.

I cannot really say which are the correct parents.

Hi Noggin

You have the right child as Thomas did have these siblings plus one more a Sarah born 1802

And you right about it is possible its Jane Camerst, as Thomas Sr might have been like his son a Carpenter and traveled a lot

Dose a birth certificate give the whole name of a mother do you know

Thanks for your interest and for helping me so far, not sure how else I can find info out on Thomas born 1770

A birth cert normally gives the mother fully name but they were not issued prior to 1837. Before this date of births and baptisms were registered on the parish records and they do not always include the mother's maiden name or in some cast the mother at all.

Darn that's a pain will just have to keep her as Jan unknown but i do believe your right it was the 1798, as so many had children before they married
