Looking for Trustram Deuel and John P. Deuel

I'm looking for documentation (proof) that John p. Deuel is the sone of Trustram/Tristram Deuel. I need this proof of info for DAR (Daughter's of the American Revolution. All I know is that they are father ans son but haven't found any paper proof. There were no census at that time and it wouldn't have named children then anyway.

megsmom on 2014-09-18 11:24:47Trustram Deuel was born 4 Jul 1762 in Bristol County,New York. Trustam married a Margaret Salts.
John P. Deuel was born19 Feb 1791 in Nine Partners (Now Millbrook), Dutchess County, New York. John P. married Phebe Manchester.

DarceyG on 2018-07-15 20:42:22I've run across some information regarding Benanuel Deuel's military record in Fold3 and in a couple of publications regarding New York men in the military. I descend from him through his son Benjamin to Benjamin's son, Joseph Putney Deuel. I would love to prove them as well.
