Looking for two baptisms. Elizabeth Sheppard/Shepherd born about 1821 and Mary Ann Sheppard/Shepherd born about 1816, according to other records that I have found. Their parents were Hester and William Sheppard. Hester's maiden name was Vaus and she was born in Crick, Nothamptonshire. I think that William was also from this area and they were married here about 1809.
William had died before 1835 as Hester was remarried to George Gulliford in Feb 1835 in Midsomer Norton and remained here the rest of her life. Elizabeth married David Box in 1839 and Mary Ann married George Gulliford Junior in 1842 in MN.
On census, Mary Ann is said to be born in Binegar, but no baptism has been found here. ELizabeth's place of birth is not clear as it varies on census, but I believe that it could be in Somerset.
I cannot find the date or burial place of William but think it was probably in Somerset as this seems to be the area where they lived when the chidren were born.
