Sometime around 1963/64 Valmai left Raymond.(he was with another woman)She had the children with her at her parents house in Toowoomba until they were not able to look after them anymore. Valmai asked Raymond to take the 2 children.As she was looking for work she was unable to see the children much and also Raymond had his girlfriend living with him.She(the girl friend Joyce )was abusive to the children,especially to the girl child(Zandra )The boy's name is Ian.
Zandra has always kept her maiden name in the hope that her mother would one day try to get in touch.
Apparently sometime after the separation of Valmai and Raymond,Valmai was seen by Raymond in the Valley in Brisbane.Obviously pregnant.About mid 1960's
