I am looking for the children or other relatives of Maria Vidmar, born 16.09.1891 and Francisca Vidmar born 27.08.1893 in the village of Glinek near Mirna in Slovenia (Austrohungarian empire in those days). Their father was Franz Vidmar and mother Maria Vidmar. They came to America around 1910 - 1915, probably to Ohio, married and dissapeared without trace.

My grandmother Justina Vidmar came to the US in 1920 from Mirna Slovenia. She married Vincent Rostan also from Mirna.

Did they travel together to the USA and did parents travel with them to the USA

Where did you find Maria & Francisca birth dates.

I have no informations about Justina Vidmar from Mirna. However there were abot 5 families Vidmar living around Mirna in those days.

As for Maria and Francisca Vidmar, I was only told, that they went to USA around 1910 or later. I was told, that they have marrid there, but that were only rumors. Nobody knows anything more about them.

I have no informations, if they traveld together to USA. However they traveled without parents.

I found their birth dates in the historical records of the local church. They were baptised in that church.
