Marshall's parents are Reuben Polaski Christian and Molly May Gillespie. He had several brothers and sisters. Family story is he went out to hunt with a group of men. Could have been with Lighthorsemen. The leader of the Lighthorsemen Peter Conser, did not go with the main group when they left. Peter left later. Walter was shot,he had already passed when he was brought into the house. Not much else is known. Will Terry was a friend of Marshall's around that time.
