Looking for WATERS of Abbeville , SC
My Waters arrived in Charlston, SC in 1768 from Belfast Ireland. There was Peter, his wife Mary and their children: Elizabeth,Rachel,
David and Sarah, all born in Irland. Sometime after their arrival they had two more children: Martha and Jeannnet. Elizabeth 1st married Charles Steele and 2nd John Lummus, Rachel married William Bell, Sarah married Hugh Porter, Martha maeeied Samuel Burney. Nothing is known about Jeannette nor David. I am particularly
interested in David, who did he marry and did he have any children? My brick wall is my gggrandfather David L Waters whom I believe to be a son or grandson to the afore mentioned David but can't prove it.
