Searching for information on Jeremiah and Margaret WHELAN (nee TWYFORD) of Kerry. Their eldest son Stephen (b circa 1845) immigrated to Sydney, Australia, and married Johanna Murphy (from Boherbee CORK) in 1873.
He tried to bring out his brothers and sisters, viz Bridget, Mary, Charles, John, William and Michael.
William and Michael did come to Sydney on the ship La Hogue in 1879.
