My grandfather, Charles James STEBBING, born 9th November, 1834 in Middlesex, sailed to Australia twice, as a Carpenters Mate on the "La Hogue" arriving in Sydney on 29th October 1857 then arriving again on 2nd November 1858. I am trying to find out on what ship and on what date he sailed to Australia for the final time.

Also trying to find out when he also sailed to New Zealand and on what ship, and on what ship he sailed back to Australia from NZ, leaving a wife - Elizabeth (nee Thomas or Tomas) and children to follow him, much to his chagrin (because she sold up without his permission).

My family tree also contains, the names PARDY from the Guernsey Island, and WRAIGHT from Aberdeen and Salmon (or Samon) from Ireland somewhere.
