This is a possible marriage record for your William & Eleanor - note spelling. William WHITE married Elennor ROBERTS in 1842 NSW, ref. MN. Registration No.V1842289 26C/1842. MN = Early Church Code refers to marriage taking place at the Church of England, Cook's River, Petersham.

Possible children's birth records:-

Sarah C. WHITE born 1843 NSW parents William & Eleanor (reg.V18432736 27A/1843)
William H. WHITE born 1844 NSW parents William & Eleanor (reg.V18441221 30A/1844)
Robert S. WHITE born 1851 NSW parents William & Eleanor N. (reg.
V18512343 37A/1851).

Too many William White death records to know exactly which one yours is. Can you ask if any family members have old bdm certification, baptismal records etc? Any other clues to help with your research?

Thanks. William and Ellen White came on the ship Robert Small and settled in Muswellbrook.Ellen died 26 March 1884 at Kyuga and buried Muswellbrook. thanks again..

my eyes are dreadful, trying to read the immigration record. Arrived on Robert Small 23 May 1856 both william and Ellen 48 and son Charles 18 and daughter Sarah 8 then it says William's father William and mother Elizabeth and Ellen's father John and mother Sarah then... can't make it out but looks like " A son and daughter ? and Emma ??? residing at the Hunter" The word after Emma looks like Clayton or Dayton. Can you read it? I zoomed it still can't make it out.
Anyway his parents are William and Elizabeth. I'll have a look around tonight. Jan

these are the only death records in NSW for the period 1856-1908 using parents names and the Wollombi one is the only one in the Muswellbrook area.
