Looking for Wilkins from Somerset

Query by sealrescue

I have been researching my Sagar/Wilkins family for 5 years. My Wilkins line came from Somerset, moved to Durham and then ended up in Burnley Lancashire. They moved where there was work in the pits. I have come to a dead end with Thomas Wilkins b 1771 in Melksham, Wiltshire. He married Elizabeth Maggs. My research into the Wilkins family includes the names Maggs, Cottle, Francis, Button, Smith, Conroy.

Anyone with info on the this family would be greatly appreciated

Not sure if we are on the same line, My ancestors, James and Mary Wilkins (Davey) and their children, Elizabeth, James, Sarah and Henry came to Australia in 1857 as assisted immigrants from Somerset. I haven't managed to trace their history further back than the 1830's, so am not aware of any other surnames.
