I know William Edward Rathbone to be born 1858 at Talbot,VIC, Australia to parents William Rathbone and Elizabeth Martin.

I am try to trace both of his two parents William Rathbone and Elizabeth Martin, their birth dates & places, their parents birth dates & places and any emigration details to Australia.

Any help would be greatly appreicated.

It's some years since your query but I just found it!
My records show that William Rathbone was born 1821 (Delamere, Cheshir)
Elizabeth nee Martin was born 28 Oct 1828 (Compton Chamberlain, Wiltshire)
They both died in 1907 (Australia)
My husband, Garth Muirson, is a descendant of Elizabeth's parents, Edward Martin b 22 May 1796 (Wiltshire) & Leah nee Trowbridge b Nov 1798 (Ebbesborne Wake, Wiltshire)
