I am possibly a descendant of the Colhouns of Colhoun and Milne. My ancestral grandfather Samuel Colhoun and his brother James had a business in Port Of Spain. Samuels french wife and daughter died c 1855, and two sons were sent back to Glasgow. We believed they were in business with a Mr Mills of Bristol, but I'm thinking that was wrong? Do you have further info on your Williams business partners? My ancestral grandmother died there of cholera, but I have been unable to track her death, or the births of their sons and daughter. Unfortunately I have no other info on the business except that there was a 'farm' as well.
