A bit more detail is that his father was Thomas (circ 1805), mother Hannah (circ 1810) both from Wales, Hannah reappeared in Wales on the 1841 census without Thomas her husband but had William and her daughter Martha who also appears to have been born in the USA in 1838.

Yes I have quite a bit of this. I should have been more clearer. It is the USA period I need, how they got there, when and when they returned. Also, what happened to Thomas. Thank you for this, it also helps confirm what I have which is good as I have had others with bits that don't totally match dates which can be confusing.
