Lunts of Macclesfield, Cheshire, England

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody out there knows anything about Charles Lunt b/ c 1808 Cheshire (?middlewich) & his wife Betty Davies b/c 1808. I cannot find out where Charles was born so cannot get back any further than him. Does anyone have any ideas? I found their marriage record in Macclesfield on the family search (IGI) website.
Charles Lunt & Betty Davies are my ggggrandparents.
One of their sons Charles Lunt married Eliza Lyndon. They in turn had children & one of them was also Charles Lunt who emigrated to N.Z & married Priscilla Carter in Lytellton. They then moved to Dannevirke had 2 children one who died early & the other one Mary Lunt (my grandmother) married Percy Puflett Mayo.
Any info or ideas would be really appreciated!

Charles lunt and Eliza Lyndon had william lunt (b.1874) who then in turn had Edith Lunt (b.1905) who also lived in the Dannevirke region who married Montigue Giddens... Any ways I think I can help.
Charles Lunt b.1807 m. Betty Davies b.1806 was the son of Philip Lunt b.1764 m. Sarah Burrows in 1789 and was born in Middlewich, Cheshire. In an 1841 England census, Philip appears to live alone at the age of 78 in the civil parish (area) of Middlewich. Just to help you refine your search.

I do know there are other Lunt's that came to N.Z Charles & William had an Uncle and his family living in the South Island. But I don't know if any of Charles & William's brothers & sisters emigrated or where they ended up.
I have a tree on Ancestry.com Mayo family tree, but I stopped my subscription as I've been busy with other things!!!
