I have found that my Grandfather, John Ryan (1) who married Mary Agnes Lupton, had parents - FATHER: John Ryan (2) born in Wollombi NSW and Ann aka Anne Tierney who was born at Tongy NSW. John Ryan (2)had parents FATHER:John Ryan (3) born kilkenny Ireland and transported to Maitland NSW for "Insurrection" in Ireland on the ship Sir Godfrey Webster --- and MOTHER: Elizabeth Pennell aka Pennall who came to Australia a free traveller. John Ryan (3) had parents - FATHER: Kyran Ryan in Kilkenny, Ireland ---and MOTHER: Mary Fitzpatrick. Kyran aka Keyran Ryan (christened 1779 St. Canices, Ireland) had parents FATHER: James Ryan and MOTHER: Mary Carty.---- Elizabeth Pennell's parents were FATHER: John Pennell aka Pennall transported to Maitland NSW and MOTHER: Martha Pennell both of who returned to UK when John was granted his pardon.----At this stage I don't have anything else on Kyran Ryan, Mary Carty, Martha Pennell, John Pennell, James Ryan or Mary Fitzpatrick. Elizabeth (Pennell) Ryan died in Dalby Qld. Australia. Ann Tierney's parents were Michael Tierney and Julia Connolly. Ann Tierney died in Singleton NSW.
