Malinda Dance
I am reseaching the dance family. My great great great grandmother is Melinda/Malinda Dance. She married J. G. Vail, who became a Brigadier General in the Union Army. I'm looking for her parents and possibly grandparents.

The 1850 census I have seen. The actual document looks like it says they were from Iowa. but sometimes those things are hard to read.
