Hi familydetective, you gave me some info before in regard to this family. My Aunty had it written down that this Joseph was born in Nairn Scotland in 1813? Is there any records of this birth? He was meant to be a Master Mariner and drowned at sea. If this info was right the other Mann's you gave me must belong to someone else. I think there must have been other Mann families living in Northumberland as well as my Joseph christening date 24.12.1837, he was a Shipwright and died 1900.

Also if you can find any info of John W Mann b 1867' Blacksmith, married 1887 to Sarah Ann E Franklin. Did they go to South Africa?
