Mary 'Minnie' A Simmons was born 1857, Richmond,Virginia,USA and married Zachariah 'Zachery' Thompson around 1877. They had John W Thompson born 1787 and Robert Sidney Thompson born 21 May 1879, Pittsylvania Co,Danville,Virginia,USA. This is my husbands Great grandparents and we are trying hard to find any information on Mary and her parents. If anyone could help we would appreciate it. We have the death certificate for the son Robert Sidney Thompson and it gave us the information on Mary Simmons and Zachariah Thompson but this is all the information we have on them. It is believed there was a fire that burnt all the records in VA which would account for the missing info. but someone, somewhere must be related and have some information. Please help! thanks all.
