As part of my larger family history, I'm researching the Maskill family.

I've gotten as far back as Alfred and Caroline MASKELL who must have arrived in Australia as a married couple some time before 1871.

Their children- John Joseph (married Florence Graham), William, Alfred Joseph (married Margaret Pratt), Arthur, Catherine M, Adeline Margaret (married Edward S Bower), and Mary A- were all born in New South Wales between 1871 and 1898.

The spelling of the name from "Maskell" to "Maskill" took place some time between 1888 and 1890.

I can't find any records regarding Caroline Maskell except as the mother of the children. No marriage, birth or death records are available in the NSW registry of births, deaths and marriages. Very frustrating!
