Matthew Park

In Ancestry.com and on the Bosman/Sleith Family Tree there a mention of Matthew Park's death in 1899, age 99. Could someone please advise me how you found this information and is it correct. Perhaps someone could provide further information on his death records and where is he buried.
From searching the 1841 England census he is listed as being alive, but Matthew does not appear in the 1851 or there after. He was born 16 Aug. 1800 in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. He was the father of my great great great grandfather Gavin McIntyre Park. Gavin came to New Zealand in 1848 and some other members of the family also came over. Matthew's wife Elizabeth (which is Gavin's mother) also arrived in this country without her husband.
I really would appreciate any information that people may have.

Have you checked Scotlandspeople.gov.uk website, for death of Matthew between 1841 & 1851, the site is a pay per view, there appears to be one death in 1851 possibly your Matthew.

Surname Park - exact surnames only.
First name Mat - Forenames that begin with.
This is possibly your Park Family in 1851 no Matthew as the above could be his death.
