I can date my family back to Hugh McCaig and Isabella McVicar dated abt 1814 but am having trouble with the ancestors before. Both were born in Northern Ireland but my great great great grandfather was from Scotland. Hugh was the only sibling born in Ireland and was there long enough to have a child "Charlotte" born there. The rest of his family were born in Scotland and Canada.If any of you happen to be researching the McKaig/McCaig/McQuaig/McCuaig family please contact me if you have relevant data.
