I have been researching the McMahan's for over 30 years. I would like to connect the family members who came here from Ireland in the early 1700's.

My family line includes:

William McMahan, Rev. War Patriot - Pennsylvania

Thomas & Diana Adams McMahan - Moved to Kentucky and later to
Cooper County, MO.

Samuel & Sarah Clark McMahan - Married in Clark Co., Ky and
moved to Missouri in 1810. Samuel was killed during the
War of 1812.

J.W. & Elzira Turley McMahan - Married and raised their
family in Cooper County, MO

William N. & Anna Shemwell McMahan - Married and all
of their children were born in Cooper Co., MO. They
moved to Howell County, MO in 1900. William died a
couple of years after moving to Howell Co., leaving
Anna to raise their young children. A widow, Anna
married a widower neighbor, Dock Greenbury Turner.

Charles E. and Julia Hagan McMahan - Charles
married Julia in Ozark Co., MO, but they lived
in Howell Co., MO. Julia died at age 21 giving
birth to her second child.

Nick and Maudena Turner McMahan - Lived and
raised their family in Howell County, MO.
