McMullen Drapers/Merchants of Belfast Ireland.
Do you have any McMullen merchants in your family tree? I am especially looking for Robert McMullen born in County Donegal Ireland in about 1833, eventually settling in Belfast where he was a merchant (of clothing or fabric I think). If you have any information I would love to hear from you! Thank you for reading.

Hi,
My husband is descended from some McMullens who came to Canada from Ireland. They wouldn't be Robert's parents or siblings, as they came in about 1840, but they are possibly related, as they came from Enniskillen, which, if I'm looking at the map of Ireland correctly, is either in or very near to County Donegal. According to the information I have, John McMullen (1782-1871) and his wife, Ann (1789-1862) came to Ontario, Canada with their children, Elizabeth, William, James, John, Mary Ann, and Jane in about 1840. I haven't gone further back to find John McMullen's parents yet. If you discover a connection, please let me know. I'd be glad to share the information I have about their descendants.
