The ancestry I have collected on this Winifred Mary is;

Winifred Mary Moloughney born 1829 in Parish of Templederry County Tipperary her name spelt Moloughney on extract of her birth cert.
Her first husband William WHELAN 1826-1854 she married on the 15 December 1848 in Parish of Templederry. Son Edward was born in 1850. They emigrated 26 May 1851 Passenger lists show Departed Plymouth-Arrived Port Adelaide on the Ship ?atherine William , Winifred and 1st Child Edward - Source from Bound for South Australia by Diane Cummings.
They then had 2 more children in South Australia, Catherine Mary 1853?1902 and William b:1854 and burnt to death in a house fire on 8 April 1858.
I don't know how William WHELAN snr died but it was in Bendigo Victoria on the 7 June 1854.

Winifred next married Thomas GLEESON 1819-1862 on the 1 October 1855 in Sandhurst, Victoria. On wedding certificate it states witnesses were John and Ellen Slevin. His mother Johanna Tuohy and Father Thomas Gleeson of Ireland and her father Thomas and Mother Catherine Slevin of Ireland. On wedding cert her fathers surname spelt McLAUGHLIN.

They moved to New Norfolk in Tasmania and Thomas GLEESON and Winifred had 4 children;
Thomas Joseph Gleeson 1856?1934
Winifred Mary Gleeson 1858?1906
Joanna Elizabeth Gleeson 1859?1944
Mary Ann Gleeson 1861?1932

Thomas was a farmer at Dry Creek, New Norfolk and on the 16 February 1862 Thomas Gleeson whilst drunk fell from his horse and broke his neck.
The inquest published in The Mercury (Hobart, Tas. : 1860-1954) Wednesday 19 February 1862
Thomas GLEESON is buried at Dry Creek.

On the 8 May 1864 Winifred married John McREDMOND 1834-1916 at St Peters Church New Norfolk. Together they had one child Elizabeth McRedmond 1864?1946.
On the 9 March 1885 Winifred Mary died at New Norfolk in Tasmania. She is buried at the New Norfolk Cemetery on North Crescent.

I have added the Griffiths Index for landholders in Latteragh in Tipperary. You will notice MOLOUGHNEY holding land at Knocknagoogh, Latteragh.
Also mentioned on the GLEESON/MOLOUGHNEY marriage certificate were present their parents. Thomas GLEESON's mother is noted as Johanna TUOHY by the family member holding the said certificate, of which there is some disagreement many think her name was TUCKY. As I've not personally seen the certificate I cannot comment but I would be more inclined to trust the certificate before hearsay. Her forename name was Johanna and she died on the 26 December 1865 at Nenagh Tipperary, Ireland

Hi

Winifred is my Great Great Grandmother, from mty mother side. I have an extract of the marriage cert to william whelan , and her surname is spelt Molochney, witnessed by - John Kennedy and Andrew ( her brother) and a Patrick- at Parish of Templederry County Tipperary. William was born 30th July 1826. Parish of Roscrea County Tipperary. His parents are Edward and Nancy Whelan. His Sponsors were John and Mary Quinlan.

From family recollection, her surname should be spelt Moloughney. Also
family recollections do confirm that Thomas Gleesons mother is a TUOHY...no tucky .

Thomas Gleeson was intoxicated and so roughly handled the bridle on the horse, this caused the horse to rear, an he suffered a fracture of the spine and concussion. He was aged 43.

John mcredmond( her 3rd Husband) was born 1834 and died 27th April 1916 at New Norfolk Tasmania. he is Buried North Crescent Cemetary New Norfolk . Elizabeth ( their daughter) married Owen Eugene Cashion and Had 11 children.
