Researching ancestors and descendents of the Morrissey family from Tipperary. There were 4 brothers in the family - John, James, Denis and Patrick and 3 sisters - Catherine, Margaret (who married Michael Stapleton) and Mary. They came from the Drom and Barnane areas. Four of Denis' children came to Australia - James, Johanna, Patrick and Margaret (married Daniel O'Neill).

To add to my previous info. Mary Stapleton married James Tuohy in Drom in 1858. They settled in Laha.
